Founder of Equitable Coaching and Lead Anti-Racist Award Coach
Claire is a doctoral researcher and trained coach who supports leaders and organisations to reflect on the ways race has been constructed in schools through policy and processes. She supports senior teams to develop anti-racist approaches by coaching and dismantling key constructs around Whiteness and its role in enabling and sustaining racism.
Claire served as a school leader and Head Teacher in the UK in urban areas of economic and has a wealth of experience in supporting creativity, optimism and self-organising systems that enable positive cultures to grow despite economic neglect. Her PhD research is focused on ‘race’ construction and majorities of Whiteness in leadership.
Claire runs her own organisation called Equitable Coaching and coaches on CRED’s The Anti-Racist Schools Award and Integrity Coaching Race, Identity and School Leadership Programme.
