BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences Undergraduate 

Michaela Klemparova, is one of 14 Leeds Beckett first year students to be selected for the University’s annual Bright Futures Scholarships.

Michaela, aged 20, and a former pupil of Sowerby Bridge High School, said she was delighted to receive the scholarship and that she would use the funding towards travel expenses and computer equipment for her degree course.

She commented: "It’s a great honour for me to receive this Bright Futures Scholarship. I can now focus my full attention on my degree course without the burden of financial worry. I have always been passionate about sciences and am very much enjoying being able to specialise in Biomedical Sciences at University with like-minded people."
