Around The World In Leeds Restaurants
7 February 2018 - Accommodation
As you have probably already discovered, Leeds has pretty much anything you will even need, including all the flavours of the world.
To make things easier we have made a list of the best restaurants for specific taste buds, depending on which cuisine you fancy.
The choices are endless! Cielo Blanco in Trinity is great for a 'tapas' sort of approach which lets you try the whole menu. Whereas, Dare Cafe in Headingley might not look like it, but it has a delicious Mexican offering and you can get 2 for 1 on Mexican every Monday!
Street food seems to be sticking around and although some aren't great, Bundobust (vegetarian) has got it right, even down to the disposable cutlery. Top tip: Make sure you try the okra fries! If you fancy a more traditional curry house, Corner Cafe on Burley Road is ideal.
For an authentic and fun evening out, Zaap Thai is one of the best places to eat. With a buzzing atmosphere to reflect the busy markets of Bangkok, you can eat in a Tuk Tuk! In need of a takeaway after a heavy weekend? Order from Jino's Thai Cafe on Otley Road- life saver!
If BBQ meat is your thing, Red's True BBQ and Longhorns at The Head of Steam in Headingley is where you need to be, just the smell alone will make you hungry. They also have an extensive choice of beer!
You can't beat Salvo's for a classic, refined Italian menu and even better, it's on your doorstep (if you live in Headingley.) Or else Gino D'Acampo has opened his own restaurant in Leeds that's proving very popular!
Okay, burgers isn't a country but it would be a crime not to tell you about the best burger joints in the city - let's start with Byron (they actually ask you how you want it cooking!) Meat Liquor (monkey fingers will change your life), Boss Burgers, Five Guys, Almost Famous AND Handmade Burger Co. You're never far from a burger in Leeds...
Enjoy your travels!
