The Bright Futures Scholarships provide support for first year students who would otherwise be unable to attend university. The financial assistance provided helps them to cope with the costs of university and access extra-curricular opportunities.
The Leeds Beckett Alumni fund directs your donation to our university, allowing us to enhance the experience of students, while not directly funding an individual scholarship.
Many of our scholarships are supported by alumni class groups, companies, and organisations with ties to Leeds Beckett University and to the city of Leeds. These scholarship awards are all named in recognition of their generosity and reflect their commitment to helping students.

Leeds Beckett University has provided education for people in Leeds since 1824. Across the generations, alumni and friends of the university have chosen to show their appreciation by leaving a gift in their Will to support students.
There are a number of ways you can leave a gift to Leeds Beckett University. Whether you want to leave a specific sum of money or a gift in kind, our Alumni Team are more than happy to discuss the options with you.
We understand that your Will is a deeply personal process, and you do not need to notify us if you intend to leave a gift to Leeds Beckett. If you do want to tell us, however, we will keep the information confidential and use your gift effectively and ethically in accordance with Fundraising Regulator guidelines.
