CV Workshop for Leeds Beckett Architecture Students

Leeds Beckett Architecture students benefitted from the expertise of city region architecture practices on Wednesday 01 May through a CV writing workshop.

CV Workshop

The afternoon session included a presentation outlining what is expected and what to include, examples discussion which highlighted positive and negative aspects of previous applications, and individual feedback to help the students understand exactly what the profession are looking for with regards applications. Students were able to discuss their current CVs with the practitioners, gaining feedback which may prove invaluable as they begin to apply for positions upon graduation.

The participating architects are all actively involved in local RIBA chapter The Leeds Society of Architecture, which have strong and active links with the Leeds School of Architecture. Special thanks go to Simon Hill of DLG, Luke Brady of DLA, Jess Davidson of Corstorphine+Wright, Bradley Spencer of P&HS, and Michelle Martin of Live Site Project.
