£25,000 in grants up for grabs in games design competition

Got a great idea for a game? Want support the support of our expert staff in developing it, a £5,000 grant and the chance to win a further £20,000 in development grants? You can with Leeds School of Arts, which has been selected as a West Yorkshire regional hub for Tranzfuser 2020.

Transfuzer is a competition created by UK Games Fund in order to promote innovation and help teams of university students and recent graduates bring their ideas to life. Successful applicants will receive £5,000 and support in the form of access to expertise within the creative computing department of Leeds School of Arts. Projects will then be showcased at EGX in September, where the winning entry, as voted on by attendees, will win £20,000 in financial support.

Applications close at 12:00 on Wednesday 29 April and applicants must have graduated after June 2018 or be graduating in September 2020 at the latest. Check here for further terms and conditions.
