Having already won the Institute of Travel and Tourism 'Student of the Year' award earlier this year, Ana collected this most recent accolade at this event to celebrate inspirational women at all stages of their career and uncover role models to help encourage more women and young girls to consider a career in the travel industry.

Ana’s undergraduate research about the empowerment of local women through tourism in Cape Verde impressed all of the judges, as did her passion to celebrate diversity as she forges her management career within the industry. Now working on an industrial placement as an accounts assistant at Radisson Blu, Ana was described as "a dedicated team player, with a distinct willingness to develop, Ana has proactively supported other departments, from coordinating charitable events to supporting GDPR and Brand Compliance".

The School of Events and Hospitality Management would like to wish Ana a huge congratulations for this fantastic achievement!
