Each year, we nominate students from our courses who the team feel have excelled in all areas throughout their studies. This year was no exception with the team honouring Kirsty Lane, the recipient of the ITT Centre of Excellence “best under-graduate tourism student” for her academic achievement on the BA (Hons) International Tourism Management programme as well as her tenacity and can-do attitude whilst on placement.

Our second winning student is Orfeas Better, a distance learning student who graduated from our BSc Travel Business Management degree. Orfeas worked diligently whilst successfully blending part-time studies with his full-time front office manager position with Civitel Hotels in Crete and is the worthy winner of the ITT Bill Maxwell award for the “best distance learning student”.

2020 also saw another of our students, Eleanor Greatorex, being nominated for the prestigious ITT Bella Rangel Callen award. This award celebrates students and future practitioners of the highest calibre from a national field of entrants. We are delighted to announce that Eleanor beat off the stiffest of competition to win this award and has given her career a great start.

As soon as is safe, all winners will be guests of the Institute of Travel and Tourism and join an awards party attended by many of the industry’s most senior executives.
