This course examines and applies theories and methodologies to promote successful intercultural communication. It is designed for teams at every level of your school or trust. Typical programme areas include:

  • Language as a social construct
  • The role of communication in culture
  • Cultural variables, communication norms and barriers to intercultural communication
  • Analyse your own communication style and how it is affected by your culture
  • Improving team intercultural communication 

In the Post-Brexit context, our language courses for professional or vocational purposes will help participants to develop the language skills and vocabulary, as well as the cultural and business etiquette skills to work effectively in international business. These results-oriented, tailor-made courses will help your business maintain existing relationships, succeed in new markets, and reach new customers. Typical Programme areas may include:

  • Boost staff moral and improve their mental health and wellbeing
  • Help you maximise employee effectiveness and teamwork within your organisation
  • Improve your language skills to maximise communication efficiency with your international and global partners

These bespoke courses range from half-day workshops to intensive one or two-day courses, to CPD programmes lasting two to six weeks.
