Anne is Senior Consultant and programme manager for the suite of courses that are part of the Leadership Curriculum programme licensed by the National College for Teaching and Leadership, including the NPQH, NPQSL and NPQML courses. She co-facilitates on the programmes and offers mentoring and coaching support to participants.
With more than 20 years’ experience in education, Anne began her career in a large Catholic secondary school as a teacher of history and was a member of the senior leadership team when she left nearly 17 years later. During that time, Anne took on many leadership roles and became an accredited Advanced Skills Teacher. In 2009, she moved to work for a local authority, initially as a subject consultant. While in post, she became the programme manager for a Healthy School programme, an Achievement for All coach, planned and delivered a range of training, including early and middle leadership programmes, and worked with both primary and secondary schools. Most recently, Anne was deputy headteacher in a small Catholic-Church of England secondary school with lead responsibility for Continuing Professional Development, Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs), Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and Special Educational Needs Disabilities (SEND).
