We work with a number of organisations to deliver high quality outdoor adventure activities throughout the UK and overseas.
Our agreement with the YHA allows us to provide competitively priced residential accommodation for groups such as schools, colleges and youth groups.
The YHA runs a network of over 200 youth hostels, bunkhouses and camping barns in stunning rural, coastal and city locations throughout England and Wales and is one of Great Britain's top 50 charities.
Our agreement sees CGO delivering the activity programmes for the National Citizenship Programme on behalf of the partnership between vInspired and the NYA.
The scheme consists of a four week programme and CGO deliver on week one. In their first week of an NCS programme young people are given the opportunity to stay at an outdoor activity centre, getting to know each other and experiencing the freedom of being away from home with new friends.
The young people are placed into groups of 12-15 people they'd never have met before and then given the chance to take part in adrenaline-fuelled activities with their team mates, like rock climbing, canoeing, hiking and archery delivered by Carnegie Great Outdoors instructors and Course Directors.
We are delighted to have teamed up with Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre to deliver high quality team development, leadership training, away days and activity days. As an elite National Sports Centre, Lilleshall is the perfect backdrop for a wide range of activity events.
Whether you're looking for a corporate team away day, a fun, light-hearted day away from the normal work environment, a school/college charity event, or even a get together with extended family and friends with a difference, Lilleshall can provide you with a diverse mix of inspiring grounds, historic building and an affordable range of indoor and outdoor facilities for a wide range of entertaining team building activities and challenges all year round.
We are proud to provide multi-activity and adaptive sports coaching at The Royal British Legion Battle Back Centre at the National Sports Centre, Lilleshall in the West Midlands.
The Battle Back Centre is funded and delivered by The Royal British Legion. Attendance at the centre forms an important part of the recovery for all wounded, injured and sick service personnel. The Centre encourages participants to focus on what they can do, rather than on what they can't, to help them improve their resilience and motivation and build confidence and independence to make the best possible recovery. Sports participation and outdoor activities are an integral part to rehabilitation.
Carnegie Great Outdoors provides the specialist coaching for the five day Multi-activity residential programmes giving participants opportunities to take part in challenging activities including climbing, water sports, caving, wheelchair basketball and archery.
Climbing Out is a charity that works with young people facing life-changing injury or illness.
We deliver the outdoor adventure activities for the Climbing Out's five-day residential programmes. These programmes aim to help participants regain their confidence and self-esteem and provide them with the opportunity to realise what they can still achieve despite the challenges they face.
The outdoor activities we provide for Climbing Out include climbing, kayaking, gorge scrambling and hill walking, all adapted to suit the needs of the young people attending.
