Who is eligible?

To be eligible you must:

  • Be registered on a full-time undergraduate course funded by HEFCE. If your course is funded by the NHS or NCTL (Initial Teacher Training) you will not be eligible.
  • Be enrolled to start your course in the 2016-17 academic year.
  • Be charged tuition fees of £9,000 in 2016-17.
  • Achieve three A level grades at ABB or above, or the equivalent.

How to apply

There's no need to complete an application form - if you have achieved the necessary grades, your scholarship will be confirmed when you enrol for your course with us in September 2016.

What happens next?

If you are awarded a scholarship your tuition fees will be reduced by £1,000. We will contact the Student Loans Company to tell them your fees have been reduced and they will send you an amended financial statement to confirm that your tuition fees have been reduced. The scholarship is for your first year only and may not be deferred if you decide to start university at a later date.
