23 March 2016
Well Met, the conference office for Leeds Beckett University, is delighted to announce the appointment of Conference Manager, Clare Vidler. With experience gained from a range of venues across the UK, Clare takes the helm of the growing conference office at Well Met.

Clare was previously a Conference and Events Officer at Leeds Beckett and returns to Well Met after working as General Manager of Hospitality at Broughton Hall near Skipton, North Yorkshire. Clare has also worked at various venues across Leeds including The Leeds Club and The Queens Hotel, as well as spending 2 years as an Events Executive at the prestigious The Roof Gardens in Kensington, London.
On her appointment, Clare Vidler comments:
“I am delighted to be welcomed back to Well Met. I have really missed Leeds Beckett and all it has to offer. I learnt a great deal about service delivery and running very large simultaneous events during my time at Broughton Hall and feel this experience will be put to good use. It’s such an exciting time to be back and with some big changes on the horizon, I’m really looking forward to working with the team and getting stuck into the new challenges that lay ahead.”
Kate Davis, Head of Business Development for Campus and Residential Services at Leeds Beckett University comments:
“We are so pleased to have Clare back on the team at Well Met. She has a great breadth of experience and we are confident that she will bring a fresh approach to the conferencing team. We have some extremely exciting upcoming developments, with imperative decisions on the future of the brand and business being made in the coming months, so it is vital that the team are in a strong position to deliver and strengthen our reputation in the industry.”
