'The Vault' reveals its treasures to Well Met guests
15 January 2015 - Well met
Well Met Conferencing at Leeds Beckett University this week announces the addition of The Vault to its portfolio of award-winning conference and events venues. The Vault is available now for bookings for summer 2015.
Located at the converted Kirkstall Brewery residence , a leafy location with views of the Leeds Liverpool canal, The Vault combines three meeting spaces, including The Snug , The Clubhouse and a large but cosy lounge area equipped with a fully licensed bar and kitchen, snooker table and table football.
The space has been recently refurbished to a high standard, translating the 'Be Beckett' brand into bright and funky fixtures and fittings, chesterfield sofas and oak tables, creating a luxurious but contemporary feel. Designed by fuse8 design, who recently delivered the brief for Leeds’ Everyman cinema, quirky finishing touches include giant Yorkshire Tweed lampshades and huge grass walls, which make the distinctive bar an ideal location to relax after a day’s conference or exploring the region.
Kate Davis, Head of Business Development for Campus and Residential Services at Leeds Beckett University said:
“Kirkstall Brewery is one of the University’s most beautiful and historic venues, and we’re delighted to be able to make a space as special as The Vault available to delegates. The perfect space for sports groups, summer schools and group travel, the venue is within a gated community, offering privacy and security, alongside plenty of space for large groups to meet and relax.”
The complex has on site accommodation for 800 people, only a short drive from both the Headingley Campus and Leeds City Centre, making it perfect for residential conferences or group stays. The venue also has free onsite car parking and bike storage.
