Balkans Peace Park Project

We are looking for motivated volunteers to continue the work of last year, supporting a summer programme in the Albanian Alps. Volunteers join with partner charity, Balkans Peace Park Project (B3P), a UK registered charity, who work partnership with non-government organisations across Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo/a to develop sustainable tourism opportunities. The area has suffered considerable outmigration of young people in recent years and B3P is working with young people to improve their employment prospects. Located within the beautiful and remote area, volunteers will stay in a local guest house and will have the opportunity to spend free time hiking or just relaxing. Depending on volunteer’s skills and interests they can support the community in Lepushe with a range of summer activities.

Volunteer role(s):

Sports coaching
We are looking for male and female sports coaching volunteers to run a variety of sports with young people, for example: cricket, football, rugby, boxing or other sport that our volunteers may have experience of.

Tourism, hospitality and marketing
Volunteers with creative or digital marketing skills to create a promotion video of the local culture, for example, showcasing local musicians, and supporting local accommodation providers to create menus, increase social media capacity, and help to set up a food trail using local produce.
