University Business Centres
Our University Business Centres across the Yorkshire region are home to over 230 businesses. The centres include specialist facilities for digital and creative businesses. Businesses can benefit from a range of affordable and flexible office services, expert mentoring and training, regular networking events, and access to specialist university facilities and academic expertise.

Networking and Events
The university hosts a range of events, many of which are free to attend. These provide access to specialist knowledge, valuable business networks and inspiration for business growth.

Professional Business Lounges
Connect with other businesses or meet your clients or suppliers at our executive business lounges in various locations across Yorkshire.

Business Growth Support 
The AdVenture programme provides business support and expertise to young businesses under 3 years old with an ambition to grow. The funded business support project includes access to events, workshops, expert advice and peer to peer learning to help boost growth. *Eligibility criteria apply.

Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)
Innovate and grow your business through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Leeds Beckett University. A KTP creates a unique partnership between an innovative growth business, the University and a highly skilled graduate to deliver a strategic innovation project. Your business could benefit from government funding to help you:

  • Introduce new technology
  • Develop and launch new products
  • Enter new markets
  • Develop more efficient ways of working

Training and Development
Our University meets individual and organisational training needs through continuing professional development (CPD) courses in a range of specialist areas, many accredited by industry. Our programmes provide flexible study options with the opportunity for work-based or e-learning.

Access to Funding and Business Support
Our experienced team of business development managers can work with you to identify funding options that may benefit your business.Support is available for UK businesses wanting to improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance by accessing the knowledge and academic expertise available within our university. For SMEs looking to innovate we created a unique business diagnostic scheme. It offers consultancy and help with implementation of projects to help your business to grow. Businesses can receive up to £3,000 of funding per project as well as access to our graduate talent pool.

Research and Consultancy
Our University actively engages with business, using our wide expertise to help you improve your processes or products through tailored research and consultancy. Our specialists from our research institutes can offer up-to-date guidance in many areas of research.

Partnerships and Collaboration
Leeds Beckett University works with a range of business partners regionally and nationally. We actively engage with regional councils, economic partnerships, further and higher education institutions, the Chamber of Commerce and the Institute of Directors. Through partnerships and collaboration, we work to help you to connect with the wider business community.

Student and Graduate Recruitment
We understand the importance of employing the right people, and offer a range of services to support your recruitment needs; from project work, placements and internships to graduate recruitment. Over 25,000 of our students and graduates use Career Hub, an online tool where you can advertise opportunities free of charge, promoting; graduate jobs, 12 month placements, summer placements and internships, part time jobs, and vacation work and schemes.

University Facilities
We offer a range of multi-use facilities for business, education and conferencing purposes. We are the first UK university to achieve the prestigious Accreditation in Meetings (AIM) Gold award.
