Economic Prospects

Join us at this breakfast lecture, sponsored by Yorkshire Bank, where Will will explore the global economy, as well as trends closer to home, including the UK economy ahead of the country’s departure from the EU.

Sponsored by Yorkshire Bank, Will Holman’s talk about the state of the economy is now an annual event, and this year’s session comes at a pivotal moment. Will’s talk will cover the global economy, as well as trends closer to home, including the UK economy ahead of the country’s departure from the EU. This event is open to everyone, and will be of particular interest to professionals in financial and professional services, as well as to academic colleagues and economics and finance students.

Will is one of the Bank of England’s two representatives in Yorkshire. An economist by background, he worked in the public and private sector before joining the Bank. His role takes him out to businesses and schools in the region, acting as the Bank of England’s eyes, ears and voice in Yorkshire.
