Annual Festival of Politics and International Relations 2017 events

The annual Festival of Politics & International Relations 2017 involves a programme of talks, debates, workshops and other events providing opportunities for argument and discussion on a range of social, political and economic issues.

The annual festival is organised by the Politics & International Relations Subject Group, part of the School of Social Sciences. The Politics & International Relations Group offers two undergraduate courses: BA (Hons) Politics and BA (Hons) International Relations. Each subject can be combined with a specialism in Human Rights, Global Development, Peace Studies or Political Economy, reflecting some of the areas of research within the group.

All the listed events (programme below and attached) are free and open to staff, students and members of the public. Confirmed speakers include Hilary Benn MP and Alex Sobel MP. Updates to the programme, with additional speakers, will be announced soon. Please contact Paul Wetherly, PIR Group, P.Wetherly@leedsbeckett.ac.uk directly if you would like to register to bring a group of students or require any further information.
