Gender Research Conference 2018

The conference is an opportunity for staff to share and celebrate their research, network with colleagues, and to showcase Leeds Beckett’s gender research.

The inaugural Gender Research Conference will be held on the 6 March 2018 at Cloth Hall Court.

The conference provides a forum for colleagues to share the range of gender research being undertaken across the University and supports the development of interdisciplinary research on gender through providing a space to colleagues to network and share ideas.

It is also integral to our commitment to gender equality through our continuing Athena SWAN charter work.

Keynote: Professor Jayne Raisborough, School of Cultural Studies and Humanities
Title of keynote address: Politicising our Wrinkles: Feminism, Gender and Ageing
