A team of four students in our University’s Faculty of Business and Law have entered into the 21st annual Network of International Business Schools (NIBS) Worldwide Case Competition, which is being hosted this year by St Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.

A creative Leeds Beckett University student has teamed up with his brother to launch a new design company in time for Christmas, specialising in custom word art and prints.

David Welbourn: "Narrative – Putting Both Strategy and Culture in the Shade!"

David will look at the leadership implications for a world characterised by VUCA – volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. He will argue that these are no longer the preserves of exceptional circumstances, but are the consequences of the system dynamics of increasing interconnectivity, a permanently-on culture and accelerating cycle times.

Chris is a forensic accountancy partner at Deloitte with experience in a wide range of fraud, corruption and dispute resolution matters across the UK, Europe and the globe. Chris will be delivering a guest lecture at the Rose Bowl on 8 March entitled "Fraud and corruption in the World of Business"
