Graduate Success Stories
Edd explains: “I presented my final year project at one of the University’s showcase events and woke up the next morning to an email from an employer who wanted to chat about my plans after university. I got the job pretty much straight away.”
Pete had a similar experience and says: “I really enjoyed my final project for the showcase event - I created a news aggregation website that took news from different sites and put it all together. From that one event I met with a number of employers who watched my presentation and it led to my current job.”
Edd and Pete now work for bespoke software and web solutions developer Sett in Bradford and the company’s managing director Rob Walters is a big fan of our showcase events.
Rob said, “The standard of work from the final year students impressed us greatly. It was a fantastic opportunity for recruiters like myself to see potential talent and for students to network with industry.”
