Graduate Success Stories
It was through connections between our University and Leeds United F.C. that he secured his dream job working as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the football club, as he explains: “I got my position through an internship which was available from one of the links between the University and Leeds United. I think that’s something they are very strong with – giving students the opportunity to get out there and apply what they’re learning, not just in the labs and in the lecture theatres, but being able to apply it to real world players.”
Matt is incredibly proud of the work he achieves out on the field today, saying: “What I find amazing about the job and on match day is to see improvements in my players – I am making a positive change in them.”
