Gain a UK Bachelors degree in law developed by experts in the legal profession.
- Start your first year at Rushmore Business School and complete two years at Leeds Beckett University in the UK
- Choose to study your final year in the UK at Leeds Beckett University
- Law modules dedicated to Mauritian law and legal system
- An LBU Bachelor degree enables you to enrol on the Bar in Mauritius and the UK.
Gain a comprehensive and contemporary knowledge essential for a career in the legal profession. You can select modules that match your career aspirations and interests, providing practical insight into the Mauritian legal landscape. You can qualify as a solicitor or barrister as determined by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board as well as Law Practitioners Qualification Requirements in Mauritius.

This course provides you with the option to study in the UK. You could choose to study for one or two years at Rushmore Business School. Your second year or third year of study would be at Leeds Beckett University based in the vibrant city of Leeds.

LLM - Law
Gain the expertise to further your career in a specialised area of law or business.

Gain insightful contemporary knowledge that is at the forefront of the legal profession. You will formulate a plan for your dissertation by identifying, evaluating and synthesizing primary and secondary research materials relevant to your chosen area of law.

The LLM Master of Laws adheres to the QAA’s descriptor for a higher education qualification at level 7: master’s degree (England, Wales, and Northern Ireland). It is a 180 credit award.

If you want to enter the legal profession but don’t have a current law degree, you can study our postgraduate diploma.
