Will Brexit affect me?
Leeds Beckett is a global university and we are proud to welcome students from across the world.
This year we have seen students from more than 143 countries come and study with us, to develop their thinking and learning in order to make an impact on the world
We believe education is essential for improving our communities and the world we live in. International collaboration and knowledge exchange are essential to what we do and form the basis of our research activity and output.
The referendum decision will not change our international outlook and we will continue to focus on the EU as one of our main areas for global engagement.
Current update:
- There will be no change to the tuition fee status of undergraduate and postgraduate EU students attending and applying in 2019/20, which means you will pay the same as UK students for the full duration of your course, even if the course ends after the UK has left the EU.
- As an EU student, you will be able to apply for tuition fee loans for an undergraduate and postgraduate course if you are continuing or starting your course in 2019/20.
- The fees for EU students starting courses at a UK university following Britain's departure from the EU will depend on what is agreed as part of the UK’s exit negotiations.
