Student Support

Personal Tutors
Students are allocated a personal tutor who will usually remain as the key contact throughout their studies. Your personal tutor will get to know you and discuss your progress, helping to support you in your studies and to make the most of your university experience.

Study Essentials Module
The Study Essentials module at Leeds Business School is a programme of weekly events and exercises relevant for first year undergraduate Business students. It involves a series of lectures and workshops, with tips and strategies aimed to support you with your modules and get the most out of your university studies. Sessions include; 'Succeeding in your Studies – Essential Toolkit: Academic writing', 'Employability and Work Experience', 'Masterclass in Budgeting' and 'Exam preparation and revision'.

Decision-making and Leadership Skills
We run sessions to help students improve their leadership and professional decision making skills in our Hydra Suite. Hydra is a facility that offers an immersive and interactive business simulation to help bring learning to life – for more information view our Hydra Virtual tour.

Competitions and Projects

Study Abroad

As an undergraduate student at Leeds Business School, you will have the opportunity to study abroad for a year or semester. We work with universities overseas whose staff will continue to nurture and support you as you embark on a sandwich year. Studying abroad provides an exciting opportunity for you to not only learn about different businesses and practises - but to immerse yourself in another culture and enrich your travelling experiences, all the while contributing to the progression of your degree.
