Life in Leeds
Location, location, location is the famous saying – and they don’t get much better than Leeds.
Home to one of the biggest student populations in the UK, Leeds has it all - fantastic shopping, a vibrant night-life, vast open spaces and a first-class sports scene, to name just a few.
We're a well-connected University, centrally located between Edinburgh and London, and easily accessible by rail, road and air. Our city's public transport makes Leeds an easy place to get around. Both of our campuses are in easy walking or cycling distance from each other and close to plenty of popular shops and services - meaning you can take the environmentally friendly, healthy (and cheap) route too!
If you're travelling from further afield, Leeds Bradford International Airport provides easy access from many worldwide destinations.
We're one of the most popular universities in the country and, with more than 80,000 students in the city - it's easy to see why so many people make Leeds their first choice. With three universities, there's always something exciting happening.
You'll find people of all faiths, languages and backgrounds in the city, with more than 75 different nationalities. Leeds is also the home to cultural events, such as Leeds Carnival and Food festival.
