Raising the profile of environmental research at Leeds Beckett
20 March 2017 - Scarlett Armstrong
Dr Eric Brymer in the Carnegie School of Sport is bringing together a group of environmental researchers to raise our University’s profile in this area.
Eric said: “There are a number of universities viewed as influential in research linking people and the environment. Our profile and influence should be higher for a number of reasons, including the fact we have at least 30 researchers working on a range of subjects from greening urban areas to health and wellbeing. What is also special about Leeds Beckett is we are collectively focused on a very important international political and policy topic aimed at the betterment of both people and the planet and the fact we have Carnegie Great Outdoors which adds an additional dimension to our research”.
The group is interested to hear from anyone at Leeds Beckett who isn’t already in the group for People Environment Research Lab (PERL). Contact Eric directly at: E.Brymer@leedsbeckett.ac.uk.
