Statement from the Vice Chancellor

It is with a heavy heart that I convey dreadful news. Courtney Boyle, one of our first year students reading Criminology and Psychology, was killed during the terrorist atrocity in Manchester.

Courtney was an excellent student doing well in her studies and had formed a strong friendship base in our university. It is tragic and heart breaking that she was one of the victims of this indiscriminate act.

I know you will join me in extending your deepest sympathy to Courtney’s family and friends at this sad and difficult time.
