Bigger, Badder, Better – Beckett are ready for BUCS Super Rugby season
Beckett will take on the University of Bath in their opening fixture on Wednesday 27 September at the Bath Rugby Union’s Recreation Ground, kick-off 6:30pm.
The team are gunning for a much improved season in 2017 and have been training hard in preparation for the tough season ahead.

Rugby Development Manager Kerry Wood believes the team could achieve great things this year, with a strong core of committed players and very talented new additions to the team, 2017 could be a special year for Leeds Beckett Rugby Union
“The team are looking a lot fitter, faster and stronger this year and are all raring to go for our game against Bath.” Kerry said
“We have been working really hard over the last ten weeks as part of our pre-season training and we have all had our eyes set on the game against Bath since day one,”
“I really have to praise to praise the great work that our Strength and Conditioning Coach Jonathan Weakley has put in as well, he has really helped with making our team bigger and better.”
“We have brought in a lot of quality players to the group this year, who will add size, power and a lot of experience to what is a genuinely exciting squad this year.
“I believe we are more than capable of competing in this competition, and we are certainly capable of achieving something great this year.”
Leeds Beckett’s fixture against the University of Bath will take place on Wednesday 27 September, kick-off at 6:30PM at Bath’s Recreation Ground.

The fixture will be streamed live and you can watch the fixture at The Arc, Headingley, entry to The Arc will be just £3 with all the entry money raised going to the Charlie Watkins Foundation.
