Get involved in Welcome Week and #GetSetForBeckett


Get involved, make friends and settle in to life at Leeds Beckett with our optional classes and activities available during your welcome and induction.

After you arrive, your induction will consist of necessary events like ID checks and your course induction, details of which you can find in your induction timetable on the Online Welcome System.

But, you can also take advantage of our free #GetSetForBeckett programme and get some handy tips on everything you need to know about being a student.

Want to find out more about academic skills, online resources and software available to you, meet the teams that are here to support you, discover opportunities available to you or how you can get fit or take part in social sport? There’s sessions available for you, we’ve covered everything from how to stay safe, to earning while you learn.

You’ll still have plenty of time to do everything you want to do, from exploring Leeds, to going to the Fresher’s Fair, to checking out the nightlife, so take part in as much as you can during your first weeks here and make settling in to life at Leeds Beckett as easy as possible.
