Leeds Beckett to welcome Qatari delegation
The delegation from the Embassy State of Qatar, Cultural Attaché’s office in London, will be visiting the University on Wednesday 23 November, where they’ll meet current Qatari students as well as members of Leeds Beckett’s International Office.
The delegation includes Dr Mohammed Alkaabi, The Cultural Attaché, Mr Fahad Alkuwari, Assistant Cultural Attaché and Ms Iyeman Ayed, Education Counsellor and will discuss future business opportunities with the University as well as establishing a long term relationship.
Speaking ahead of the visit, Puspa Mistry, International Development Manager, Middle East, said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming the delegation from Qatar as we develop a closer relationship with this key market for us in the Middle East region.”
There are currently over 50 Qatari students at Leeds Beckett, studying from Foundation through to PhD level.
