Leeds Beckett to host live event in preparation for Clearing
The live event will be hosted by Stephanie Hirst on Tuesday 3 August from 16:00-17:00.
Participants will get an insight into what Clearing is, how it works and why it is an important opportunity for prospective students.
The expert panel will include Leeds Beckett University’s Deputy Vice Chancellor Tracey Lancaster, Student Recruitment Consultant Rob Rattray, and Associate Director for Marketing and UK Student Recruitment, Charlotte Renwick. They will be joined by Head of Admissions, Denise Dixon-Smith.
Leeds Beckett University Deputy Vice Chancellor, Tracey Lancaster said: “Clearing explained is a wonderful opportunity for parents and supporters of students to get all the information they need about the Clearing process.
“Our aim is for participants to leave with a clearer idea about applying to university. We’re here to offer advice, support with the application process, and guidance throughout. This will enable students to make an informed choice at this crucial stage of their lives.”
The live event is aimed at parents and supporters of prospective students, but anyone looking to apply to university through Clearing is also welcome.
