Leeds Beckett graduate Kadeena Cox MBE wins second gold medal at Toyko 2020
The Sport & Exercise Science 2013 graduate won her first gold medal of the Games on Friday 27 August in the C4-5 500m time trial, breaking the world record.
24 hours later, Kadeena claimed her second Tokyo gold in the team sprint alongside fellow Team GB stars Jaco Van Gass and Jody Cundy.
The victory saw Kadeena and the team break another world record inside the velodrome after finishing the race in 47.579 seconds.
Kadeena now holds four Olympic gold medals, having previously won two at Rio 2016. In Rio Kadeena became the first Team GB athlete to win two gold medals in separate sports.
Her attention will now switch to athletics where she will be looking for a Tokyo treble and fifth Olympic gold medal in the T38 400m on Saturday 4 September.
