Very informative and enjoyable.

Attendee review, 5 December 2014

Are you keen to learn how to build an app? Do you want to have a go at building Android apps?

This course provides an introduction to budding developers in understanding Android app development and the tools provided by Google to help get you started.

During the two days you will learn Android programming, looking at the basic Application structure using Android Studio (the latest IDE).

This course will help you improve your software development knowledge and will provide you with a good understanding of Android development.

Suitable for

This course is for beginners who are happy with looking at computer code and software development environments.

The course is not an in depth look at Android APIS but will use simple applications as examples to look at the issues of developing for multiple devices and versions of Android. As such it is suited to new developers with little or no experience of Android to more advanced developers looking to find solutions for these types of problems. With its focus on Android Studio it will also benefit Android developers with experience of Eclipse looking to make the move over.

Prerequisites

Not required. However please bear in mind that you will be seeing lots of code. If you don’t like seeing code, then maybe the course isn’t for you. Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure.
