NTI Training Manager
Melissa leads the team and has several years’ experience working at NTI. She is responsible for the scheduling of all training courses, coordinating and sourcing new trainers, new product development and for ensuring our delegates receive the best customer service possible. Melissa specialises in providing quotations for bespoke training delivered off site at external business premises or privately here at Cloth Hall Court or arranging one-to-one coaching sessions.

Aaron is an Agile coach, Certified Product Owner, ScrumMaster and professional based in the UK. He is the Commercial Director of McKenna Consultants who provide Agile consultancy, coaching and training, bespoke software development and app development. In 2014, Aaron was nominated on the shortlist to receive an award for “Best Agile Coach or Mentor – Process” at the 2014 UK Agile Awards.
After graduating in 2009 with a degree in Business Studies from the Sheffield School of Business (Sheffield Hallam University), Aaron collaborated with brother Nick McKenna to take the first steps transforming McKenna Consultants into one of the most successful Agile Software Development businesses in the UK. Aaron has always had a strong business sense and an organised, prepared approach to his projects, steaming from his days at school when he was responsible for organising many charity events and also from his time running the back office for a local taxi company during his time at University.
Andrew is an independent media producer working in video, motion graphics and 2D and 3D animation, and is an Adobe Certified Instructor for Adobe Première Pro and After Effects.
As a freelancer he spends much of his time training, both classroom and video for Première Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Fusion as well other products such as Mocha, SpeedGrade, Audition etc.
Chris Kenworthy is a freelance copywriter for marketing projects, and former content manager. After six years collaborating on web-based projects for NHS Digital, and at creative new media agencies in Leeds, Chris became a self-employed writer in 2009. Before that he spent four years training users to take full control of their new websites, as a developer and technical analyst.
Chris now helps small to medium-sized, independent Yorkshire businesses communicate better with their audiences by putting readers first, and using clearer language. He has a bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Leeds University’s School of Computing, and has managed countless WordPress websites both professionally and personally for almost 10 years.
Dave is a digital designer with over 16 years experience helping digital/web agencies with heavy workloads and producing online solutions directly for clients.
Focusing on high-quality design and intelligent ideas, his skills cover a range of digital services, including brand consulting and identity work, web design, content marketing, reactive and real-time marketing, and ultimately anything that's delivered online.
He has designed websites for the likes of Disney, Nickelodeon, Guinness, BBC and many more. He's appeared in numerous industry magazines along the way such as Net Magazine, Web Designer and has even appeared in publications in Japan.
Duncan is the founder of Spike Digital and has eight years of specialist search marketing experience from local to international, large scale SEO campaigns.
He provides practical digital strategy consultation to companies based in the UK and worldwide that are looking to drive more business via their digital channels. Once strategic planning is agreed with clients, he implements search engine optimisation (SEO) development, paid search (PPC), build social media conversation, online PR activity and provide support services in digital content provision (copywriting, photography and video).
Gary Bradley is an Adobe Certified Instructor and an award winning graphic designer with over 17 years commercial experience working as a designer and Creative Director in digital print, animation, CGI and illustration.
Gary has led global projects in creative multimedia technology, art direction and management for prestigious brands such as Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Nike, and Sainsbury's. His courses are designed to nurture and enhance your talent. He will take the knowledge that you have got and help you become more adept, more effective and more productive. He will share with you proven best practice techniques and little known short cuts that can and will save you hours - all delivered in a style and language that you can relate to.
James works as a Digital Coach and is a Certified Google Partner who has been running AdWords campaigns and analysing Google Analytics for clients for eight years.
He works as a freelancer, offering consultation and training on: digital marketing, Google Analytics, website planning, and using software as a service to improve business efficiency. He has worked with a variety of clients, including small and medium sized businesses, schools and charities, helping them to take advantage of online opportunities.
Jeremy provides certified Apple training and has offered Mac support services, installations and consultancy to organisations for more than 15 years.
He has worked with a wide range of businesses, from small creative companies and individuals, to multinational organisations and government departments; and was recognised by NTI as a trainer with the best student feedback.
John is a fully-qualified teacher with over 25 years’ experience. He has taught music and music technology at all levels from KS3 to postgraduate, and is currently a visiting lecturer at the National Film and Television School.
An experienced Apple Certified Trainer, he has delivered Logic Pro training courses throughout the UK. He has worked for Apple EMEIA as Logic Pro Trainer Mentor for 9 years, and he is currently the Technical Editor for the Apple Pro Training Series Logic Pro X courseware and Subject Matter Expert for Apple Worldwide Training.
He has delivered seminars at the Royal College of Music (Stockholm), Teknodida (Finland) and SoundEdit (Poland) as well as the Screened Music Network (UK), the Academy of Contemporary Music (UK) and Tech Music School (UK).
He is an accomplished guitarist with performing experience in a broad range of jazz, rock and pop styles. As a Music Technology Consultant, John provides technical support for a large number of professional film and TV composers. He has written and produced music for TV, radio film and corporate, with clients including BBC TV (Crimewatch), Apple, Regus, ManWho Films, Regus and LegoLand.
His session credits include recording for Boy George, Colin Blundstone, Edwin Starr, Paul McCartney, Loop da Loop, Brothers in Rhythm, Alison Limerick, Andrea Tafuri, Chad Jackson and worldwide top 40 act Tinman. Television sessions include 40 Something (ITV), Hero to Zero (BBC) and Zig Zag Love (BBC).
He has created transcriptions and music programming for over 50 books, including the award-winning ‘Play Guitar With’ series for Music Sales Ltd, and has featured in performances and gigs across the UK and Europe, including the musicals Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
John is an APM/APMG approved trainer across PRINCE2, Agile, Project Planning and Control, Risk Management, APM Introductory Certificate and APMP.
He has been doing technical and project management for more than 30 years, covering technical IT, business change and project management in both the private and public sectors.
He has worked with companies such as BICC plc, Manor Park Systems (now nviron), Government IT Services Agency, Manchester Training and Enterprise Council, North West Water (United Utilities), Yorkshire Electricity, RWE npower, NES Aim Academy and Training Byte Size.
Kiran is a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University with over five years of teaching experience in Network Management and Network Security among other areas related to networking systems.
He is the course leader for M.Eng. Computer Science and M.Sc. Networking Systems Engineering. Before joining as an academic, Kiran also worked in industry developing secure commercial VoIP solutions. He has led curriculum development and delivery for networking for undergraduate and postgraduate students at Leeds Beckett. His research areas include network security and sustainable computing.
Marian has over 20 years of project management experience working in both public and private sectors and for large and small companies. She is a specialist in the PRINCE2 methodology and a highly experienced trainer.
Mike is a highly experienced designer, visual creative and software trainer. In addition to his training work he runs his own studio focused on digital imagery for advertising and marketing communication, serving clients in the UK, Europe and USA.
He has a broad and deep skill set across design, photographic based imagery, 3D CGI, video and motion graphics. Mike has over 15 years’ experience as a trainer and is an Adobe Certified Instructor in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects. He is also an Adobe Video Specialist.
Patrick is a senior lecturer at Leeds Beckett. He has been a lecturing at the University since 2002 and has worked as a trainer at NTI since 2007. He has an MSc in Virtual Environments and delivers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the School of Computing in the fields of Mobile Development, User Design and Games Development.
He originally delivered courses in Flash and ActionScript, but he now works on real-world Android applications through the Leeds Beckett App Studio developing mobile or web based software to the commercial market. He has delivered courses to Broadcom, BBC and Yorkshire Post through NTI.
Richard is an award winning, BAFTA nominated creative technologist, whose work includes visual installations, social media, web and mobile applications such as games.
He has worked on a range of projects with digital agencies for clients such as The Beatles, BBC, Channel 4, Co-op, Taylors of Harrogate, Ecolab and The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
He also works directly on contracts with clients such as BBC R&D, National Media Museum, David Hockney Studio and Salts Mill.
Sarah is a sought after social media strategist and trainer, with over seven years’ commercial experience in media and marketing.
She has spent the last five years running her own social media training and consultancy business, working with an eclectic mix of clients; from SMEs, to entrepreneurs, digital agencies and HE institutions.
Her academic accolades include a first-class degree in Media Studies and a Masters in International Communication, in addition to working as an associate lecturer in social media at Leeds Beckett University and the University of Leeds for the past two years.
