It’s easy to think that once you’ve applied to university the biggest part of the process is over. There are actually a few more steps along the way before you get here. Here’s a short guide to what you need to do and some important dates for your diary.

Key dates

Interviews - December to March

Some of our courses require an interview. If you’re a fan of the Apprentice, don’t worry – you’ll be faced with a much friendlier panel. It’s an opportunity for you to get to know us as much as it is for us to find out more about you.

Applicant Days - December to April

Once you have applied to Leeds Beckett, we’ll invite you to one of our Applicant Days. The events provide a more in-depth look into your course, you can meet lecturers and see our facilities.

Accept Your Offer - February to June

Once we’ve made you an offer, you still need to confirm your place with us. Just visit the Your Choices section of UCAS Track online and reply to your offer by making Leeds Beckett your firm choice.

Accommodation - February to June

Carnegie Village

Once you’ve accepted your offer, you can apply for a place in one of our Halls of Residence.

Financing Your Studies - January to July

When it comes to spending money, it’s important to get things right. Make sure you’ve done your research on tuition fees, student loans, scholarships and grants and applied for what you need. Our Money and Advice team is also on hand if you have any questions.

Before You Arrive - August to September

Before you get here we’ll send your online welcome information and accommodation details to help you prepare for life on campus.
