National Obesity Awareness Week

Obesity has a serious impact on health and wellbeing, approximately one in four adults in the UK are living with obesity. Researchers at Leeds Beckett are at the forefront of obesity research, working with government agencies to support policy development, and co-developing, implementing and evaluating community-based programmes, with the person at the centre of what we do. Our research and consultancy has led to real-world impact that has improved the understanding, prevention and treatment of obesity. During National Obesity Awareness Week, we will share our research and provide guidance on how we can become a healthier nation.
