ITU World Triathlon Series

ITU World Triathlon Series

The UK's most prestigious triathlon event

The ITU World Triathlon Series will be held in the city for the third year running, welcoming the world’s fastest triathletes where previously renowned alumnus Alistair Brownlee MBE and Alumna Georgia Taylor Brown competed. Alongside the elite athletes competing to be crowned World Champion will be more than 5,000 triathletes enjoying the unique experience of contending on the same course as the world’s best.

Leeds Beckett is offering students and alumni a fantastic opportunity to support a major international sporting event as Tri-Makers when the pinnacle of triathlon competition in the UK returns to Leeds in June.

We’ve secured a variety of exciting volunteering opportunities, including supporting athletes on the course, registering participants, and assisting the swim start, transition, wayfinding and transport teams. As well as contributing to the success of the largest triathlon event in the UK and gaining invaluable experience along the way, you’ll also receive a free t-shirt and refreshments.

Tri-Makers are required from 8 to 10 June and applications are now open. Do not miss the chance to play a part in an event enjoyed by over 50,000 passionate sports fans so apply now!
