AJ Bell World Triathlon Series

AJ Bell World Triathlon Series

The UK's most prestigious triathlon event

In 2018 the AJ Bell World Triathlon Series was returned to the city for the third time running, welcoming the world’s fastest triathletes. This year over 3,000 triathletes enjoyed the unique experience of contending on the same course as the world’s best. Leeds Beckett Alumna Georgia Taylor Brown received a silver medal in the women’s event in front of over 70,000 passionate sports fans.

Supporting this major international sporting event, Leeds Beckett University’s students and alumni volunteered to support athletes on the course, registering participants, and assisting the swim start, transition, wayfinding and transport teams. As well as contributing to the success of the largest triathlon event in the UK and gaining invaluable experience along the way.

Pre-register for 2019’s event today.
