Are you the manager of a team you feel could benefit from a team build session or some tailored development?
Working effectively as part of a team is essential to the success of our University. As well as offering sessions from our People Development Programme, we also offer bespoke development for teams. So, whether you are interested in having a day devoted to strategic planning, communication or working with others, we will work with you to design a day to meet your needs.
Cost, which will need to be funded locally, depends on the type of activity, materials and venue choices.
To ensure you get the most from this opportunity, it is important that we are involved in the planning from day one. We have a wealth of contacts and suggestions to help ensure maximise impact from your day with the most appropriate development available and the expertise to advise and help you to achieve your desired outcomes.
To help us plan the session that is right for you, please complete our Request for Teambuilding Form. To ensure we have the time required to plan the perfect session please make sure you complete and send this to firstname.lastname@example.org at least six weeks in advance of your planned activity.
Unless already agreed, the People Development Team will source the most appropriate facilitator for your team’s development. It will then be up to you/your team to arrange the logistics of the event, such as the venue, hospitality and invites.
Evaluating Team Building / Tailored Development
To make sure we are delivering a good service, following your session our People Development Team will send out an online post-event evaluation survey to all delegates. Please could we ask that this is completed within one week of the request, to enable your feedback to be collated and shared with the facilitator and team manager to allow for a full review and identify any further action required.
If you are undertaking a programme of development, over more than one day, you will be asked to complete both a pre- and post-programme survey to assess the full impact and effectiveness of the full development.
