Team Development


Are you the manager of a team you feel could benefit from a team build session or some tailored development?

Working effectively as part of a team is essential to the success of our University. As well as offering sessions from our People Development Programme, we also offer bespoke development for teams. So, whether you are interested in having a day devoted to strategic planning, communication or working with others, we will work with you to design a day to meet your needs.

Cost, which will need to be funded locally, depends on the type of activity, materials and venue choices.

To ensure you get the most from this opportunity, it is important that we are involved in the planning from day one. We have a wealth of contacts and suggestions to help ensure maximise impact from your day with the most appropriate development available and the expertise to advise and help you to achieve your desired outcomes.

If you are interested in arranging a team development event, please contact POD@leedsbeckett.ac.uk at least six weeks in advance of your planned activity. For further information please refer to our process and guidelines which will help us plan the event that is right for you. 

Unless already agreed, the People and OD Team will source the most appropriate facilitator for your team’s development. It will then be up to you/your team to arrange the logistics of the event, such as the venue, hospitality and invites.
