If you’d like to try something completely different, you may be surprised by what you can do. Many of our postgraduate courses accept students with a range of undergraduate qualifications – and for some courses you do not necessarily need to have studied the same or a similar subject area before. Check out the entry requirements of your chosen course on our prospectus to get an idea. There are some differences between undergraduate and postgraduate study but they are fewer than you might think.
We also offer postgraduate conversion courses too – including Law and Psychology. Our conversion courses allow you to become qualified in a new subject.
The fact that I didn’t need any previous knowledge of psychology to do my course was really appealing. The course has allowed me to grow and develop beyond what I thought I was capable of, personally and professionally.
Reasons to study a master's degree after you’ve finished your bachelors
Our postgraduate courses are very flexible, with most offering a part-time option (search online for part-time courses), so you can work alongside your studies. We offer online and distance learning courses too – great for anyone who wants to improve their prospects alongside work and family commitments.
To make it easier for our students to continue their studies, we offer a 20% on postgraduate courses for our recent graduates. We also offer the option to pay tuition fees in instalments. What’s more, postgraduate loans of up to £11,570 are now available for master's degrees. The loans are available for a number of our full-time, part-time and distance learning programmes, across all disciplines and subject areas. Further details on the new loans can be found here.

Is a master's more difficult than a bachelor's degree?
The postgraduate journey may be a tough one when I compare it with my undergraduate experience, from the methods of learning to the learning community you’ll be with. However difficult this journey may be, as long as you feel like this is what you enjoy learning and experiencing in your area of interest, you will appreciate the 'view at the peak' even more.
