Research Open Days

Visit us for our Research Open Day

Our Open Days provide the ideal opportunity for you to find out more about our research degrees, and discover the benefits of being a student at Leeds Beckett University. A research degree is the highest qualification you can obtain and offers you the chance to research an area of your interest in depth. Employers highly value the skills and commitment studying at this level offers.

Our next event will be on Saturday 24 June when we'll be holding a Q&A session in the Rose Bowl, 11:00-11:45, about studying for a research degree.

What happens at our Research Open Days?

Held in the Rose Bowl on our City Campus, you will have the opportunity to chat to some of our Directors of Research about the area you’re interested in, and find out about practical aspects of studying a research degree, such as funding, the application process and how it might be different from studying for other degrees.

There’s also opportunity to take a tour of our campus, guided by our current students.

Can’t make our Research Open Day?

We realise that due to other commitments it's not always easy to attend. However, you can still join our mailing list to receive information about future events and other research news and information from around our University.
