Centre for Culture and the Arts
The Centre for Culture and the Arts was founded in 2013. Located within the Faculty of Arts, Environment and Technology, it brings together researchers from across our University working in the Arts, Humanities and Culture.
The Retail Institute
The Retail Institute is the UK’s only academic research centre that leads the consumer experiences of the future in retail, food and packaging. Alongside its innovative research, the Retail Institute works with suppliers, brand owners and retailers to help support future product, packaging and retail needs.
Institute for Sport, Physical Activity and LeisureThe Institute delivers international research excellence through our five University Research Centres all of which have Professorial leadership: Active Lifestyles led by Professor Jim McKenna, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion led by Professor Anne Flintoff, International Centre for Research in Events, Tourism and Hospitality led by Professor Rhodri Thomas and Sports Performance led by Professor Carlton Cooke. Our research has high impact and value for stakeholder organisations and end users, and is delivered through a supportive academic environment for all its researchers, from students to Professors.
