    Kitrina joined Leeds Beckett University in December 2013 bringing a reservoir of research experience in the areas of elite and professional sport, physical activity and mental health. She is an ambassador for the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE), a member of the National Anti-doping panel for sport and a Visiting Fellow at the University of Bristol.

    Scarlett Drury is a Senior Lecturer in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy. Her research focuses on issues related to gender, sex and sexuality in sport and physical activity.
  • Dr Hayley Fitzgerald
    Hayley joined Leeds Beckett University in September 2005 as a Senior Lecturer. She teaches on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules focusing on social and cultural aspects of leisure, sport and physical education.
  • Professor Anne Flintoff
    Anne is Professor in Physical Education and Sport and leads the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion research centre. Her teaching, research and consultancy centres on issues of equity and social inclusion, particularly gender, in physical education and sport.

    Ruan is Senior Lecturer in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy. His research and teaching interests relate to teaching and learning and critical issues in physical education; game-centred approaches, and the lived meaning of teaching and learning experiences for young people.

    Sergio joined Leeds Beckett University in July 2011. He works within the Global Coaching Office of the International Council for Coach Education and is the Technical Officer for the International Sport Coaching Framework project. He works with a high number of national and international partners.

    Dr Norman is a Research Fellow who researches within the area of women, sport, coaching and critical feminist sociology. She also contributes to the teaching profile of the School as part of the Sports Coaching & PE academic group.

    Julian North is a Senior Research Fellow in sport and coaching, in the Carnegie School of Sport. He heads the Sport Coaching Innovations (SCI) unit which provides innovative research and consultancy services to sport and coaching organisations globally.

    David joined the school as senior lecturer in sports coaching in April 2013. Prior to this he was programme leader in sports development and coaching at the University of Lincoln. David received his PhD from Loughborough University in 2009.

    Jamie was appointed to the Sports Coaching academic group in 2014 after over 10 years of study, research and teaching at The University of Hong Kong as a member of the Skill Learning and Expert Performance research group.

    Tom joined Leeds Beckett University in August 2012 as a Lecturer in Physical Education. He teaches on a range of undergraduate modules centred on the socio-cultural aspects of physical education, physical activity and sport.

    Kevin is currently a lecturer on the Sports Coaching course. Kevin completed his BSc, MSc and PhD in Sport and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University and has previously worked within professional sport as a strength and conditioning coach.
