Innovative Solutions for Sustainability in Education (ISSUE)

The Challenge

Sustainability, in any organization, should be embedded through knowledge, engagement, collaboration and innovation. ISSUE is a transnational project that aims to encourage and support change based on the principles and goals of sustainable development.

The Approach

Through the exchange of knowledge, stakeholder engagement, collaboration and innovation the project seeks to embed sustainability. It plans to support the development of governance, faculty, staff and students in Higher Education and to promote greater understanding of sustainability and the capacity to act and promote sustainable practices.

The Impact

ISSUE is developing and piloting innovative resources, tools and practices associated with integrated thinking and fresh pedagogical approaches adapted to different stakeholder groups in universities. Workshops have been held internationally, with the first held at IEDC-Bled School of Management. The project is funded under European Commission Erasmus Strategic Partnerships from November 2018-April 2021.
