About Sarah Mills
Sarah is an architect and Course Leader for the Master of Architecture, MArch Part 2, co-ordinates the MArch studio Cinematic Commons and lectures in architectural history and theory. She is also an internal examiner for the PG Diploma in Architectural Professional Practice.
Sarah is a regular design critic at other institutions. She has practised architecture widely and taught architectural design at Sheffield University before joining our University in 2008. Sarah sat on the Yorkshire and Humber Design Review Panel and is a co-founder of Group Ginger.
Sarah teaches on the Master of Architecture, MArch Part 2 and the Master in Architecture courses.
Sarah's current teaching, research and publications focus on filmic and scenographic ways of thinking through the architectural and on the representation of 'commons' through the film essay.
