Plus Icon Ashfield Building Group

About our organisation

Ashfield Building Group (ABG) is an SME principal building contractor specialising in high end residential extensions, conversions, new builds, commercial building conversions, office fit outs and industrial unit construction. The project value range that we operate in is £250k-£1.5m. We have also worked with public and private sector health bodies and foundations.

Unlike many other SME principal building contractors out there we prefer working direct with architects, project managers and contract administrators. ABG has created robust policies designed to tackle the problems faced surrounding issues such as; programme timelines, financial management planning, Health & Safety, variations and hand over at practical completion.

ABG has created a unique selling point for each of these elements and understands the importance of maintaining open and direct communications with all relevant parties.

Over the last 20 years, ABG has grown into one of the most successful privately-owned SME construction groups in the Yorkshire region. Over time we have honed our skills regarding efficiencies, competitive tender returns and comprehensive cost quotations. ABG has an unparalleled Health & Safety record, also we have developed and are very proud of a robust internal management system that is accredited by the internationally recognised standard of quality ISO 9001 and has been certified by EXOVA BMTRADA.

We are frequently invited to tender by many architects, structural engineers, contract administrators and project managers across the region. ABG pride ourselves in making and maintaining long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with all that we work with.
