Tomorrow's Professionals
Our Tomorrow’s Professionals scheme is targeted at post-16 learners who are working towards Level 3 qualifications. It offers a comprehensive journey for individuals to gain specific skills, experiences and in-depth knowledge to progress into and achieve in Higher Education.
The scheme includes:
• Teambuilding events held at the beginning of post-16 study to set the tone for the cohort working together throughout their post-16 journey
• A series of interactive conferences with university academics to give detailed information on our range of undergraduate courses
• Subject Focus Days on which participants can gain a unique insight into what to expect from studying on particular courses at Leeds Beckett University
• A comprehensive package of support for progression into the latter stages of Level 3 (Year 13 or Upper Sixth), including university-level study skills, budgeting and finance workshops, and one-on-one clinics for UCAS personal statements
Our Student Ambassadors will be centrally involved in all activities, giving the Level 3 students a first-hand account of university life in the process.
