Being a Student Ambassador has been an incredible experience. It's been fun to work with new people. The work we have done has also been very fulfilling, helping with events that better educate students about university and its alternatives. The thing I have enjoyed the most about being an ambassador is creating my own workshop to present to students about my field of education, games design. It has greatly boosted my confidence as a presenter and has improved my general presentation and organisational skills.

Young Professionals

Young Professionals is a two-year programme targeting students in Year 10 and Year 11 who have the potential to progress to higher education. The initiative seeks to raise the aspirations of participating students, developing the skills and knowledge which will help them make informed decisions about their future.

Schools are invited to select a cohort of 15 students to take part in the programme, which includes a launch, subject taster day, revision workshop and residential event. Students are supported through the programme by our team of Student Ambassadors who, will provide advice and guidance about all aspects of student life.
