Photoshop for Fashion and Textile Design
Photoshop for Fashion and Textile Design will introduce you to some exciting and innovative new methods for working with this industry standard software. You will learn to manipulate, re-colour and repeat artwork alongside preparing engineered print designs to fit specific pattern pieces. In addition to textile related techniques you will also learn to creatively edit fashion illustrations, using scanned fabrics and surfaces alongside hand rendered techniques. You will be introduced to methods of developing 3D work on the stand using Photoshop, including digital manipulation of shape and silhouette and digital draping to generate a range of design ideas.
This course is designed for people who are familiar with the toolbar and layers palette in Adobe Photoshop. The course is delivered at an introductory level and live demonstrations are supported by detailed worksheets with screen shots and inspirational visuals to guide you through techniques.
